What Is Meant for Me Will Come

Hi, I’m Ava. I find the beach in Hawaii very relaxing… It's calming to be in the islands. Maybe I’m just a beach person, since I grew up on the beaches of Southern California!

I’m a Disney fan, and so is my family, so we go every year between January and February because it’s between our birthdays. We’ve been doing this tradition for years now, and it’s something we all look forward to every year. Having these memories while I’ve been growing up has been really fun, and I’ll never forget them!

I got my dog Whiskey in 2016, and he’s nine years old now; we like to go on walks by the beach together. He’s a perfect addition to our little four-pack, now we’re a little five-pack. He’s an important member of our family. 

I love going to concerts, and I love the energy of everyone having fun together at the same time! My Mom and I went to this concert together… We had so much fun, it was just the two of us at the Taylor Swift show!

I really like Boston because of all the American history that is there. Let’s face it, the West Coast is beautiful, but it’s a lot ‘newer’ than the East Coast. Here’s my sister Maddie and I at the spot where the Boston Massacre happened… I’m not sure how they can remember the exact spot, but here we are! Watching my sister Maddie find her way so quickly in Boston has been highly inspiring to me. She moved there to go to college last year, and seeing her thrive has made me even more excited about going off to college and building this new era of my life!

This was taken at my pre-Prom photos, and my sister Maddie always comes with me to all my important events in my life, since we’re so close. She’s always been my biggest cheerleader. I scrolled through her phone recently to look for something, and I was amazed at how her phone was full of photos of us together and even just photos of ME! I’m so bad at remembering to take photos, so it’s really heartwarming to see how much she cares about me, especially documenting all my most important moments.
